In 1978 Mike decided to move from the world of intellectual theory to actual practice. He joined WOTW radio in Nashua, New Hampshire as the President and General Manager. While managing WOTW AM and FM, Mike continued to focus on personal enrichment through education. In 1985 he graduated with a juris Doctor degree from Nova University's School of Law. He then went on to pass the Bar in Massachusetts, New York, Florida and the District of Columbia. Mike practiced law for a couple of years until his passion for radio called him back.

It was during the late 1980's that Mike made a real name for himself in talk radio hosting prime time slots in Boston, New York, Miami and Seattle. By 2000 Mike was invited to host popular, nationally syndicated radio program Coast-to-Coast after filling in for Art Bell.
